Property Law Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Property Law Specialist to join our internal legal team in Cairns or Brisbane.
* Drafting, reviewing and assisting with contracts of sale for both businesses and land.
* Attending to large property transactions, including due diligence and option agreements.
* Preparing and reviewing leases, licence agreements, franchising agreements.
* Reviewing and advising on fuel supply agreements.
* Satisfying disclosure obligations with respect to franchising and retail leases.
* Assisting with procedural processes for rental determinations.
The ideal candidate will have:
1. A minimum of two years experience across a range of property transactions (ideally some experience with franchising).
2. Strong written and oral communication skills.
3. Able to prioritise and manage conflicting deadlines.
4. Detail oriented.
5. Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
