If so, this could be your next role.As a valued part of the Exploration Geology Team, you will provide assistance to geologists in the field, liaise with drilling contractors and supervisors, and support other onsite departments when required.
Your responsibilities will include preparing drill pads, flagging and pegging, working alongside geologists on drill rigs collecting samples, mark-up and rehabilitation, data collection, and processing.Safety is a top priority, and you will be required to maintain a high safety standard and actively contribute to the safety culture on site.This role involves FIFO from Cairns.
All meals and accommodation are provided while rostered on-site.Required Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience in a similar role is highly desired.Physically fit and able to work in high-temperature conditions.Able to obtain a National Police Clearance.Able to pass a medical and drug screening.Full C-class manual driver's license.Experience with excavators, bobcats, and posi-tracks (desirable).Competency in GSP units (desirable).If you meet the above criteria and wish to learn more, please forward your resume with a tailored cover letter addressing the required skills and experience.
