About the role
The Senior Manager, Media and Communication will play a pivotal role in delivering the successful rollout of Australian Red Cross' new organisational strategy, including increased community engagement amongst staff, members and volunteers, and external stakeholders, including media. In this position you will lead the strategic communication approach that brings our people, senior leaders and partners on the journey as we embed a new organisational direction, culture and operating model.You will shape and deliver communication that underpins organisational strategy, culture programs, enhanced engagement, senior leadership positioning, and enterprise-wide change.
About you
* You have at least 10 years' substantial experience in media/PR/communication or change management and transformation roles in large scale complex organisations.
* You are a strategic thinker who can execute programs against timelines and meet commitments.
* You hold superior communication capabilities and have proven experience working successfully with Executive Teams and providing advice to senior leaders.
* You have comprehensive technical knowledge and understanding of PR, media and communication.
* You are experienced in Project Management and continuous improvement.
* You are passionate about exploring and implementing innovative ways of reaching audiences and engaging within the business.
