The role

A Case Consultant in the TPD space is the kind of role built for someone who thrives on complexity, communication and critical thinking. Every day brings a new mix of detailed analysis with reviewing extensive medical records, insurer reports, Work Cover files and specialist documentation, paired with the challenge of transforming that information into clear, compelling and impeccably structured reports. This role suits someone with a sharp analytical mind, exceptional written communication skills and the ability to articulate nuanced findings with precision and confidence.

Beyond the technical work, this is an interactive role where influence, empathy and professionalism matter. You'll be speaking with customers, medical specialists, advisers, reinsurers and internal teams, often navigating sensitive conversations while driving claims toward fair, timely and high‐quality outcomes. Your ability to build rapport, ask the right questions and collaborate across diverse stakeholders is essential, especially as you interpret policy definitions, assess eligibility, determine entitlements and guide customers through complex situations.

Success in this role comes from a blend of industry experience, strong English proficiency, resilience and an eye for detail. You'll be juggling deadlines, managing risk, applying legislation and policy frameworks, and contributing to case conferences and portfolio reviews, all while maintaining outstanding service standards. For someone who enjoys meaningful work, intellectual challenge and the chance to genuinely impact customer outcomes, this role offers a dynamic and rewarding career path.

This role embraces genuine flexibility, balancing remote work with meaningful in‐person collaboration. While the team comes into the office twice per week, there's still plenty of room to shape your schedule in a way that supports both business needs and personal flexibility.

How will you make an impact?
* Deliver exceptionally clear, well‐structured and professionally written reports that translate complex medical, financial and insurer information into accurate, actionable assessments.
* Confidently engage with customers, medical specialists, advisers and internal teams to gather insights, clarify details and ensure every claim progresses with transparency and care.
* Apply your industry knowledge to interpret policy definitions, assess eligibility and determine entitlements with precision, consistency and sound judgement.
* Maintain a high standard of risk management by adhering to compliance requirements, escalating issues promptly and ensuring all decisions are well‐documented and defensible.
* Contribute to a collaborative team culture by participating in case conferences, portfolio reviews and knowledge‐sharing discussions that lift capability across the broader claims function.
