Timber Distributors is a leading wholesaler supplying timber to major hardware stores such as Bunnings, Mitre 10, Home Hardware etc as well as independent timber yards. We are the Australian distributor for Millboard, the world's finest composite decking, and WoodEvo, an amazing value composite decking. About the role

We are looking for a talented Sales & Customer Service Representative to assist us with servicing new leads and developing long term customer relationships.

Key responsibilities:

* Servicing daily in-bound web enquiries
* Answering calls from customers
* Following up leads and updating leads management tools
* Doing quotes & making sales, processing orders and working with the team to schedule delivery
* Organising samples and postage
* Providing exceptional customer service
* Responding professionally & knowledgeably about our range of products. (With training)

Our ideal applicant:

* Has previous experience in a sales, customer service or office administration or marketing role.
* Has excellent written communication skills
* A friendly and engaging phone manner and enjoys helping & talking with a wide range of people - including homeowners and renovators, builders and tradesman, as well as professional architects, landscapers and interior designers.
* Is well organised, possesses a high attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks
* Can use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook/Thunderbird
* (Optional) Experience within related industries i.e. building, hardware stores, timber, interior design etc, or knowledge of composite decking or generally an interest in renovating, architecture etc would be very highly regarded
* (Optional) Having a degree or TAFE qualifications would be highly regarded

Location: At our office in the Morisset Business Park, near Lake Macquarie NSW.

This is a permanent position - full-time or part time with flexible hours with an immediate start available for the right candidate. Monday to Friday, we are not open on the weekends, with opportunities for career progression and generous bonuses.

Salary: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year + Performance Bonuses
