Join a growing, project‐driven construction business at a critical stage of maturity, where you'll partner closely with senior leaders, shape the people foundations of the organisation, and make a tangible impact on how the business operates day to day. This role suits a senior HR professional who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, operating close to the workforce, and driving practical change in a fast‐moving environment.

About the role:

* Lead the day‐to‐day people operations while strengthening frameworks around performance, employee relations, compliance and industrial best practice.
* Drive change management initiatives during a period of leadership transformation and growth
* Lead the rollout and improvement of HR systems and processes
* Support critical people initiatives including performance reviews, remuneration and benefits reviews, restructures and compliance
* Build strong relationships across sites through regular phone contact and targeted site engagement

About you:

* Proven experience as a HR Manager or Senior HR Business Partner, ideally within construction, engineering or project‐based environments
* Deep working knowledge of Australian employment legislation, awards (Building & Construction and Clerks) and Fair Work processes
* Comfortable operating in an environment that is heavily operational, with growing strategic influence
* Confident, mature and solutions‐focused, able to influence, challenge and support senior leaders
* Strong interpersonal skills and credibility with project and site‐based leaders
* Pragmatic, flexible and not afraid to churn through work when operational demands peak
