This is a full-time on-site role incorporating 12hr shifts on a 24/7 roster located at Sydney International Airport. The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and troubleshooting of all mechanical systems and equipment. Tasks may include but not limited to conducting mechanical maintenance inspections, diagnosing and repairing mechanical systems and components and ensuring compliance with WHS standards.**Key Focus Areas*** Preventative and corrective maintenance (mechanical).* Fault finding on automated systems.* Using data analytics to enhance system performance.* Providing technical support to our customer.**Qualifications**The successful candidate will have the following:* **Australian Trade qualification with Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical** with at least 3 to 5 years post trade experience as a Service Technician* Strong mechanical background working on industrial automated equipment.* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.* Good written and verbal communication skills (English).**Highly Regarded*** Dual Trade Certificate (electrical and mechanical).* Experience in logistics, postal sorting and baggage handling systems highly regarded.* Experience with maintaining mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems* Experience with automation (conveyors and sortation systems)* Highly motivated with a keen interest to further your own ability and studies.**Aspire.
