Randstad is recruiting for an experienced Finance Officer with a strong background in Accounts Payable to join a State Government Department on the Gold Coast.
This is a full-time temporary assignment for 2 months, with potential for extension based on performance and departmental needs.
Based in Robina and working Monday to Friday, this position is available for an immediate start.

Responsibilities
Accurately process high-volume invoices and payments within required deadlines.
Managing and resolving queries from suppliers and internal stakeholders, providing professional communication and accurate information regarding payment status and processes.
Ensure rigorous compliance with financial policies and procedures within various departmental systems.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience in Accounts Payable, ideally within a fast-paced, high-volume transactional environment.
Strong attention to detail and a personal commitment to accuracy in financial data entry.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow up effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
A proactive mindset and demonstrated ability to problem-solve and effectively manage competing priorities.
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
