About the role :
Operating within the School of Education NSW / ACT - Strathfield, the position of Associate Professor (Education) offers potential for a leadership role in the National School of Education. The Associate Professor (Education) contributes to research, teaching innovations, and curriculum development, and is involved in the effective coordination, supervision, and mentoring of staff. Key responsibilities include developing, delivering, coordinating, and assessing units at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in line with the School's national curricula. The role also involves participation in academic governance, accreditation, and review processes, as well as research activities such as publishing, applying for grants, industry consultancies, and supervising higher degree research students. Engagement in the scholarship of teaching and learning, and developing collaborations at local, national, and international levels, are central to this role.

What we offer :

* Total remuneration valued at $202,205 - $222,587 per annum (pro rata), including salary component $171,352 - $188,772 (pro rata) (Academic Level D), employer superannuation contribution, and annual leave loading.
* 17% employer superannuation contributions for eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
* Annual leave loading of approximately 17.5% of four weeks' salary (pro rata), depending on start date.
