Letanika Pty Ltd T/A Signswest are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Signwriter to join their team in Karratha WA.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
Engaging in discussions with clients and assessing proposals, sketches, and written instructions to determine the composition of signage
Utilizing computer software and signmaking machinery to design and produce signs and graphics
Crafting signs by measuring and calculating letter sizes, prepping surfaces, applying background paint using brushes, sprays, or rollers, and fashioning letters with brushes, stencils, enamel paint, and decals
Developing wall murals, screen prints, gold leaf work, and custom vehicle art
Applying lacquers, varnishes, paints, and various materials for sign and lettering painting
Painting signs on various surfaces such as brick, metal, wood, glass, plastic, and others
Constructing and installing three-dimensional signs
Creating cost estimates for labor and materials
Possibly working on scaffolding when needed
Potentially installing signs at on-site locations
Skills and Abilities
Ideally have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Signwriter
Certificate III in Signs and Graphics or other relevant qualification
Ability to work in a team environment
Salary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience.
