Baiada is seeking a Qualified Electrician to support the team located in Beresfield.

Baiada has been bringing Australian families together since 1919, delivering fresh poultry to local retailers and food service customers, while leading the industry with innovation and high standards of efficiency.
About the Role:
You will play a vital part in ensuring optimal production efficiency and smooth plant operations within the Electrical team.
- Minimising downtime and ensuring equipment is operating efficiently.
- Identifying opportunities for plant improvements and automation.
- Managing project work, including the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Interpret technical drawings.
- Performing manual soldering/desoldering – electrical/electronic components
- Performing breakdown repairs and troubleshooting plant issues.
- Conducting routine preventative maintenance on all plant and equipment.
About You:
Contributing to a agile team where every day brings new challenges and rewarding opportunities, you will bring:
- An Australian Electrical Trade qualification along with experience in the manufacturing industry.
- FMCG industry experience is preferred however not essential.
Knowledge and experience with PLC systems. - Ability to follow instructions and work autonomously.
- Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
