**Our Opportunity**
Due to continuous growth within the company, Nepean Power is looking for a Construction Supervisor to lead the Modular department. The Construction Supervisor will drive all aspects of their assigned projects, including construction, installation, maintenance and repairs. This position will lead a growing team in our Thornton, NSW workshop.
Your duties will include:
- Assist in the review and maintenance of building construction programs by overseeing the progress of trades and contractors.
- Provide technical expertise on methods of construction, including ITP and quality inspections.
- Track and manage related costs while also providing cost forecasts and cost saving initiatives.
- Review project and procurement schedules to ensure that material deliverables support the construction schedule.
- Create strong relationships with all stakeholders and collaborate throughout the workshop, engineering, business development and project management teams.
**The Right Person**
- 5+ years' experience in construction management with exposure to commercial, industrial, mining or built-form projects.
- Relevant qualifications in Building, Construction Management or Building Trade are highly advantageous.
- Proven experience in Modular construction, ideally working across multiple projects.
- Previous experience leading teams in a workshop environment or similar.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to get things done.
- Strong administrative ability with a sound knowledge of various computer software/programs (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Jira, PRONTO).
- Value safety, quality and strong customer service skills.
