PartnerCo

PartnerCo is responsible for the active oversight and management of Woolworths Group strategic external partners and works across the full spectrum of the Group to ensure each partnership delivers valuable commercial outcomes.

Role Overview

This role sits within the PartnerCo team as part of the Group Finance function. It supports the Head of Commercial Partnerships.

The Opportunity

Strategic partnerships are critical to creating better experiences for our customers. The PartnerCo team manages the overarching relationships with our most strategic external partners as well as works across internal Retail and Group Platforms to unlock mutual strategic and financial value.

The Commercial Manager, PartnerCo role exists to provide the analytical rigour, structured problem‑solving, and commercial horsepower required to execute our complex partnership strategies. This role focuses on bringing strategic thinking to commercial opportunities and challenges, and is instrumental in driving key workstreams and managing stakeholders to deliver tangible outcomes.

What You’ll Do

- Conduct deep‑dive commercial and financial analysis.
- Inject strategic and innovative thinking to solve key partnership questions.
- Project manage key projects and work streams end‑to‑end.
- Translate complex partnership dynamics into compelling presentations, reports, and briefing documents for senior leadership and partner‑facing forums.
- Bring robust relationship management skills to influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to operationalise value creation.
- Strategically manage complex, cross‑functional commercial initiatives by balancing detailed analysis with executive‑level communication and influencing diverse stakeholders to deliver timely, high‑quality outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

- 3‑5 years in a commercial and analytical role within a top‑tier strategy consulting or accounting firm, investment bank, or comparable corporate development/M&A; team.
- Commercial and financial acumen, analytical and strategic problem‑solving skills, project management, stakeholder engagement, strong written and oral communication and ability to influence at all levels of the organisation, high learning agility.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office (Slides/PowerPoint, Sheets/Excel).
- Proven ability to influence a diverse range of stakeholders across different business units and partner organisations.
- Ability to navigate the ambiguity and complexities of large‑scale, multi‑layered commercial agreements.
