Creative Juice SA is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Graphic Designer/Content Specialist to join their client’s close-knit and cooperative marketing team.
Location: Cairns, QLD. Relocation costs within Australia may be negotiable with the successful candidate.
This position is only open to candidates currently residing in Australia with full working rights. Visa sponsorship is unavailable for this role. Salary is highly competitive depending on experience.

Role
As the Graphic Designer/Digital Content Specialist, you will contribute to the creative direction of the company and brands while producing visually impactful and innovative designs, graphics and content with flair and an exceptional eye for detail. You will report to the GM-Marketing and be responsible for designing and implementing campaigns in partnership with internal and external partners, content creation across marketing channels (video imagery, editorial) and managing the partner digital agency, website and digital performance.
The position will primarily focus on graphic design and content creation for marketing campaigns (consumer direct and trade) and PR activities, along with content creation for industry and trade partners to maximise the organisation’s digital reach, with the objective of strengthening their position as a place of uniquely immense, world-class beauty.
Key responsibilities
- Development of consistent, on-brand materials for use across integrated ATL and BTL campaigns utilising various marketing channels, including print, social, digital advertising, website, email communications, OOH, etc.
- Ideation, design and campaign comms roll-out through paid media activity, including material instructions and dispatching (consumer and trade).
- Negotiation of marketing partnerships with digital and content partners to extend reach and share of voice.
- Design of campaigns to fulfil the demands of global markets, with content and designs informed through consultation to meet the needs of different target audiences and cultures.
- Managing the organisation’s digital channels and website performance including content planning and implementation across owned channels, updating of content and product listings, development of blogs and other editorial as required.
- Support SEO strategies and SEM campaigns, including management of website performance, analysis, optimisation and reporting.
- Assist the Marketing and Campaigns Specialist with owned social media activity (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, TikTok & YouTube) including scheduling, community management and monitoring of performance.
- Active contribution to the implementation of activities that build the global destination brand including content curation and creation, sourcing photos and video, and video editing for social content, ensuring all content is on brand and assisting in the brand evolution.
- Development and maintenance of internal assets including presentations, documents and toolkit.
- Manage and maintain media library and asset server.
- Coordinating with partners and suppliers to deliver high quality materials on time and on budget.
- Attend meetings and member networking events as required.
Qualifications / About you
- Qualifications in Graphic Design or related marketing/comms degree and a minimum of 5 years experience in an in-house creative department or advertising/design agency.
- High proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) and video editing (Premiere Pro) highly desirable.
- Creative, organisational, problem solving and time-management skills.
- Strong conceptual skills, high skill levels in design, layout and typography.
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills maintaining a friendly and approachable attitude towards clients and staff.
- Work well under pressure and remain agile in a fast-paced environment.
- Eye for detail and a strong understanding of brand DNA.
- A team player willing to assist others in times of increased workload.
- Knowledge of the print production process, including digital pre-press, production of files for print and web, scanning, proofing and print specifications.
- Ability to self-manage creative outputs for day-to-day duties, responsible for project timelines and prioritising workload to meet deadlines.
- Experience in ideating, strategising and executing new or established brands and guidelines.
- Well presented, enthusiastic, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow established procedures and company practices; capable of working both collaboratively and autonomously.
- Flexible approach to work with willingness and ability to learn, demonstrative initiative and accept responsibility.
- Demonstrated experience in partnership negotiations, strategy development and cooperative campaign design and implementation.
- Demonstrated experience in content creation, videography, photography.
- Demonstrated experience in management of digital platforms in a consumer-facing environment including WordPress websites.
