About The Role
Join us as a Senior Sourcing Manager and help shape the future of procurement across our organisation. In this strategic role, you'll be the trusted expert driving smarter sourcing strategies, unlocking value through innovation, and ensuring every decision delivers on sustainability and good governance. You will own the development of sourcing plans, value chain analysis and procurement initiatives that make a real impact, while guiding the organisation to achieve its goals. This will provide the chance to work on exciting Capital Works projects and operational services, a unique opportunity to influence the outcomes that benefit both Council and the community.

About You
What your experience might look like
* Tertiary qualification in procurement, supply chain, business, commerce, or equivalent experience.
* Broad procurement knowledge across services, civil works, and consultancy.
* Experience in procurement planning, category management, sourcing, and contracts, with strong understanding of legislation and policy.
* Skilled in developing strategies that deliver value, manage risk, and achieve organisational outcomes.
* Proven ability to deliver business benefits through cost optimisation, process improvement, innovation, and sustainable outcomes.
* Collaborative approach to align strategies with goals and negotiate outcomes within time, quality, and budget requirements.
* Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels.
* Experience using AS4000, AS4902 will be highly advantageous
