Role Description
This is a part-time, role based in Townsville, QLD, for an RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems) Pilot. The RPAS Pilot will operate drones for aerial imagery capture, surveillance operations, and compliance reporting. The role also involves carrying out equipment maintenance, ensuring strict adherence to safety standards, and maintaining compliance with CASA regulations. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with clients to meet their project requirements, monitoring project progress, and analyzing collected data to ensure the delivery of high-quality insights to stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in drone piloting, navigation, and operations with RPAS licenses and certifications as per CASA requirements
* Understanding of drone data processing, aerial mapping, and related software tools
* Strong knowledge of safety protocols, regulations, and compliance standards in drone operations
* Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients and report project outcomes effectively
* Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to ensuring data accuracy
* Physical fitness for outdoor work and the ability to work under various weather conditions
* Diploma or relevant qualification in aviation or related fields is advantageous
