Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that all equipment, machinery, and systems are operating efficiently, safely, and within the prescribed maintenance schedules. The role involves supervising a team of maintenance technicians, coordinating repairs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Contractor Management: Oversee contractors to ensure work is completed safely and to the highest standards.
2. Maintenance Planning: Efficiently execute and deliver on maintenance plans.
3. Preventive Maintenance: Prioritize preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and downtime.
4. Safety Focus: Prioritize safety in all maintenance activities and actively participate in safety initiatives.
5. Maintenance Strategies: Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies to ensure asset safety, operational efficiency, and adherence to critical maintenance and shutdown requirements.
6. Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to company standards for maintenance, safety, and procurement.
7. Site Supervision: Provide direct oversight of on-site maintenance activities and minor projects, including external contractors.
8. Procurement: Ensure timely procurement of necessary components to avoid maintenance delays.
Required Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in maintenance management or related fields is a plus.
2. Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role, with a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
3. Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills.
5. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
6. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Proficient with maintenance management software and tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Certification in Maintenance Management or Facilities Management.
2. Experience in Meat Processing industry.
3. Experience with budgeting and cost control related to maintenance activities.
