**The Role**
As a Case Worker, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations and ensuring the well-being of participants within our Supported Independent Living home in Tweed Heads.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Act as a central point of contact for staff and stakeholders.
- Maintain a welcoming and tidy living environment.
- Manage resident services and support.
- Coordinate medication orders and adherence.
- Monitor and restock essential supplies.
- Maintain accurate documentation.
- Build and manage effective staff teams.
- Provide comprehensive training and support.
- Evaluate and enhance staff performance.
- Navigate challenging situations and seek guidance when needed.
- Facilitate progress discussions and communicate with higher management.
- Participate in organisational meetings and communications.
- Collaborate with care teams, families, and stakeholders.
- Adhere to incident reporting protocols.
- Uphold company policies and procedures.
- Contribute to analytical projects.
- Foster a culture of open communication within the team.
- Ensure proper care of company resources.
**Requirements**:
- Exceptional time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Availability during weekdays (9am-5pm).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Comprehensive understanding of participant needs.
- Prior experience in supporting independent living.
- Familiarity with behavioural management and challenging behaviours.
- Capacity to handle critical issues with composure.
All staff must have current a NDIS Worker Screening Check, WWCC, First Aid & CPR and covid certification. A driver's license and car is required.
