Marngoneet Correctional Centre is a medium security facility that houses a mix of sentenced and remand men. The role of the facility is to contain prisoners safely, securely and humanely, focusing on the individual needs of the men with the aim of providing a successful transition back into the community or on their continued journey through the prison system.
About the Role:
The role of a Facility and Assets Support Officer involves liaising with Cushman and Wakefield regarding the preventative and reactive maintenance across Marngoneet Correctional Centre and working with a range of stakeholders and contractors across the Barwon Precinct.
Some of your duties will include:
* Reviewing works packages across MCC as allocated C&W, Facility and Assets
* Providing supervisory management of contracted resources
* Providing monthly reporting to the Senior Operations Manager and General Manager on the progress of works packages allocated

About You:
As an ideal candidate, you will:
* The ability to review reactive facility infrastructure and systems failures
* The ability to produce detailed reports, briefs and correspondence on complex issues that impact facility and assets management activities
* The ability to provide authoritative application of processes relating to facility and asset management activities
* The ability to provide supervisory management over contracted resources
Qualifications/Requirements:
* Diploma of Facilities Management, or demonstratable experience of working within a correctional facility management role is desirable.
