About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Classroom Teacher to join the supportive team at St Mary's Catholic School in Wellington, NSW. The teacher in a Catholic school is someone who can encourage development and nurture the personal, spiritual and educational growth of each and every student.
Education
We are seeking a Teacher who understands and commits to supporting the mission and ethos of Catholic education within the school by:
* Creating a learner-centred, supportive, and cooperative learning environment aligned with curriculum policies.
* Developing and implementing quality curriculum programs using effective teaching methods; assess and report student progress.
* Using inclusive teaching strategies and adapt practices for equitable education.
* Analysing student assessment data to identify learning barriers and encourage improvement.
* Engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance student outcomes.
* Collaborating with school leadership, staff, and contribute to school life.
* Providing student supervision and assist in organising extracurricular activities.

About You
We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria:
* Hold relevant tertiary qualifications and accreditation to teach in NSW.
* Capacity to monitor and assess student learning data and to use this data to inform teaching for improved student learning.
* Demonstrate a commitment and capacity to actively contribute to a broad range of school activities and a capacity to reflect on, evaluate and improve professional knowledge and practice in a professional learning team.
* The desire to engage with and contribute to a Catholic learning organisation.
* The ability to develop positive relationships in the classroom based on mutual respect, patience and understanding.
* Up to date knowledge of NESA and Australian Curriculum requirements.
