The Role Reporting into senior leadership, you'll take ownership of end-to-end payroll and employee services, with a clear mandate to: Ensure accurate, compliant and on-time payroll delivery Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities Review and uplift current systems Explore and potentially implement outsourcing models Lead, mentor and stabilise an established payroll team Partner closely with Finance, HR and business leaders Deliver reporting, insights and cashflow forecasting support This is a role for someone who can balance hands-on leadership with strategic thinking. About You You're a seasoned payroll professional who thrives in environments where there's opportunity to improve, not just maintain. You'll bring: Proven experience leading payroll in a medium-large, complex environment Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, awards & compliance Exposure to system optimisation, transformation or automation initiatives Experience with a large ERP environment A calm, solutions-focused leadership style with strong communication skills The ability to influence stakeholders and drive change Bonus if you've had exposure to outsourcing or operating model redesign.
