Medical Negligence Associate, Senior Associate or Special Counsel

About the role
* Work with medical professionals, institutions and intermediaries across all lines of work from civil litigation, disciplinary, coronial inquiries and Medicare/Professional Services Review investigations, in addition to issues of practice and procedure.
* Gain depth of experience in multifactorial claims, including policy interpretation and coverage issues.
The ideal candidate
* 3+ years' post‐admission experience in defendant medical negligence or health law, up to Special Counsel level.
* Experience acting for insurers or healthcare institutions.
* Credit or distinction average in your law degree (graduates from UNSW or University of Sydney viewed favourably but not essential).
* A professional, down‐to‐earth style and genuine interest in long‐term development.
