To ensure these high standards are continually met, and as a result of recently won defence and automotive contracts, the opportunity has become available for a Vehicle Spray Painter to join our expanding business.
We are seeking a candidate with strong experience in the spray-painting industry, based in Mornington, Victoria.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Perform spray painting tasks on a variety of different surfaces (primarily from defence and automotive industries)
* Prepare items/parts for the application of coatings (cleaning, masking etc)
* Comply with job cards and company procedure to ensure client specifications are met
* Complete necessary paperwork
* Prioritise workflow and ensure work is completed to quality standards
* Comply with OH&S guidelines at all times
* Maintain a clean and tidy workspace
* Assist in other tasks on the factory floor as required
Skills & Requirements
* Spray Painting experience 2+ years (automotive, defence or aerospace preferable but not essential)
* Experience with masking and preparation of parts
* High attention to detail
* Current Forklift License (preferable, not essential)
* Punctual and reliable
