* About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Workshop Operations Manager to oversee the daily activities of our workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all work is performed safely and efficiently, while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage daily activities of workshop team members to ensure safe and efficient work practices.
* Maintain staff job results by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
* Demonstrate exemplary safety leadership behaviours and monitor and promote HSES & QA programs, to achieve a safe and incident free culture.
* Control workflow for minimum vehicle downtime and maximum workshop output.
* Anticipate customer needs and identify opportunities to enhance the breadth and quality of the service experience.
Requirements:
* 5 years proven experience in a workshop management within Fleet or Retail.
* Demonstrated ability working within a fast-paced environment.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Inventory management, procurement and stock control history.
* Be a team player, open and honest who consistently delivers an exceptional customer service experience.
* Hold a flexible approach to business commitments.
