Key Responsibilities
* Provide specialist advice to the Regional Director and assist the Regional Program Manager in ensuring the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program (QTRIP) development and management aligns with government priorities and regional outcomes.
* Monitor financial and physical progress of project and program delivery against established performance indicators, including governance, and recommend corrective actions at the regional level.
* Undertake the role of regional governance lead of program and project management business systems; influence internal stakeholders to adopt a common approach to program and project health reporting and analysis to improve governance, knowledge sharing, and information re-use.
* Conduct project reviews with regional officers to audit governance compliance and ensure consistency with established project and program management processes and systems.
Mandatory Qualifications and Conditions
* A criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment due to access to sensitive data.

* Ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to changing expectations, develop and evaluate options to mitigate risks, and make thoughtful decisions under pressure.
* Ability to operate within legislative and policy frameworks guiding TMR's practices.
* Experience in positive stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and consultation to solve problems and achieve outcomes.
* A solutions-focused mindset aimed at improving systems, processes, and service delivery.
* Desirable: Experience in program management reporting, analysis, and use of project systems; extensive experience in large infrastructure projects.
* Desirable: Qualifications in Program Management, P3O, or MSP.
* Desirable: A current “C” class driver license.
