The Opportunity

We are seeking amotivated and customer-focused ICT Support and Adoption Officerto join our Corporate Services team. Based in the EastKimberley, this role provides onsite ICT support across theorganisation, assists staff to effectively use ICT systems andservices, and supports the delivery of reliable andwell-governed ICT operations. The role acts as the primaryonsite contact for ICT support matters and works closely withthe Shire's external ICT service provider to ensure ICTrequests, incidents and assets are managed efficiently and inaccordance with organisational processes.

Your responsibilitieswill include:

* Providing frontlineonsite ICT support to staff across the organisation forhardware, software, mobile devices, printers and businesssystems;
* Logging, monitoringand updating ICT requests and incidents through theapproved service desk system to ensure all work remainsvisible, auditable and appropriately tracked;
* Assisting staff withthe use of ICT systems, applications and the service desk,including providing guidance on how to lodge and managesupport requests;
* Diagnosing andresolving routine ICT issues within established proceduresand escalating more complex matters to the external ICTservice provider where required;
* Supporting employeeonboarding and offboarding activities, including ICTaccount setup, equipment allocation, access management andinductions;
* Maintaining accurateICT documentation, records and asset registers to supportcompliance and operational requirements;
* Assisting with ICTequipment deployment, replacements, stock control andlifecycle management;
* Liaising effectivelywith external ICT providers to coordinate supportactivities, maintenance and issue resolution;
* Participating inteam meetings, training sessions and organisationalinitiatives as required;
* Followingorganisational ICT policies, procedures and securityrequirements at all times;
* Contributing tocontinuous improvement initiatives that enhance ICT servicedelivery, user adoption and operationalefficiency;
* Building positiveworking relationships with staff and providingprofessional, responsive customer service to users ofvarying technical ability.

To be successful in thisrole you will require demonstrated experience in ICT supportwithin a corporate or government environment, experience workingwithin a structured ticket-based service management system, andthe ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues withinestablished procedures.

You will also need strongcommunication and interpersonal skills, the ability to workeffectively with external ICT service providers, experiencesupporting employee ICT onboarding requirements, and sounddocumentation and record-keeping abilities.
