Permanent part time or full time Assistant in Nursing roles supporting patient care in Ward 5A, 5B and Coronary Care Unit at Logan Hospital.
Your new role:
As an Assistant in Nursing (AIN), you will support Registered Nurses in delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care to patients within Ward 5A, 5B and the Coronary Care Unit. Working under supervision, you will contribute to the daily clinical and operational functioning of a high-acuity cardiology and internal medicine environment.
In this role, you will:
* Assist RNs with direct patient care and daily clinical activities
* Observe patients, report changes and escalate concerns appropriately
* Support ward operations including equipment checks and stock management
* Contribute to a safe, respectful and team-focused care environment
About you:
You are a reliable and compassionate healthcare worker who enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team and takes pride in delivering high-quality patient care.
You will bring:
* A patient-centred approach with strong communication skills
* Ability to follow instructions and work under RN supervision
* Attention to safety, dignity and quality of care
* Willingness to learn, maintain competencies and support team goals
* Certificate III in a relevant clinical area (highly regarded)
