About the Role
At an exciting time to join Score's Engineering team, we are looking for an Industrial Engineerwho share our passion and drive for excellence and success within our Australian operations.
TheIndustrial Engineerwill be working to create, review existing and amend client quality management procedures, specifically in the additive manufacturing space. This will be focused on all areas of the industry including supply chain, utilisation of personnel, implementation of improvement initiatives and exploration of new technologies.
The applicant must be familiar with AM industry standards and manufacturing processes and be able to communicate effectively with both clients and suppliers to develop quality procedures and practices.
This position is a Full-time position, Monday to Friday. If you are an experienced Industrial Engineer this is a fantastic opportunity for you to support us in providing our clients with the high-quality service, they are accustomed to.
What you will bring to the team at Score
Responsibilities
* Provide client support in quality management and technology development process improvements.
* Creation and update client material management procedures utilising 4D (Define, design, develop, and deliver) methodology.
* In-house - interface with company departments providing technical and engineering assistance.
* External - interface with clientele to provide technical support and engineering solutions.
* Compiling of engineering reports, procedure writing and engineering calculations.
* Create organisational charts and collate project information, to determine functions and responsibilities of employees and to identify areas of duplication.
* Develop and establish work measurement programs and analyse work output to develop standards for the efficient labour utilisation.
* Analyse workforce utilisation, facility layout, operational data, and production schedules and costs to determine optimum worker and equipment efficiencies.
* Liaise with relevant statutory bodies responsible for environmental laws in project locations.
* Investigate material waste, restructures job functions and recommends work area relocations and equipment purchases.
* Implement quality management procedures.
* Assist with the development of management and other systems for job evaluation, cost analysis, financial planning.
* Review of procedures, engineering drawings, material certification and other order related documentation to ensure technical compliance in accordance with industry/clientele standards and specifications.
* Produce Engineering Drawings for design and manufacture (Solid Works / Auto CAD).
Experience
* Proven experience in additive manufacturing or production engineering, preferably within the Oil & Gas and manufacturing sectors of the valve industry.
* Minimum 5 years in a similar Industrial Engineering, Quality and Operations Management role.
Qualifications, Licenses and Training
* Accredited Bachelor of Science – Industrial Engineering, Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or related field or;
Equivalent combination of Education and Work experience that provides the knowledge and necessary to perform the work.
* Current valid Driver's Licence
