Recover @ Work Partner
We are seeking a skilled Recover @ Work professional to provide expertise in work and non-work related case management, including strategies for rehabilitation and return to work.
About the Role
The Recover @ Work Partner is responsible for delivering support, guidance, and coaching to employees in areas of work and non-work related injuries, as well as providing technical advice on workers compensation legislation and its application in early learning environments.
Your Impact
* Apply evidence-based claims management strategies and initiatives to all work-related and non-work-related injury/incidents, including the First 48 hours approach and Telehealth Services.
* Develop and monitor meaningful plans for work-related and non-work-related Notification / lodgement of claims for workplace injuries and illnesses to insurer/agent within legislative timeframes.
* Collaborate with injured employees, managers, and other stakeholders to develop and monitor injuries.
* Identify and problem-solve issues creating barriers to sustainable recovery, gathering relevant medical information.
* Ensure claims management strategies align with key business performance objectives, including reduction of workers compensation premium and claims costs.
* Communicate regularly with injured employees, managers, insurers/claims agents, nominated treating doctors, RTW specialists (if allocated), and others involved in the claim.
* Attend claims reviews with Insurers, potentially requiring interstate travel.
* Contribute to the development, review, and maintenance of training programs and resources for the Safe Work and Wellbeing Unit team.
* Support seamless information transfer in relation to work-related injuries and illnesses, ensuring optimum support for the network.
* Manage non-work-related injuries/illnesses to determine suitable strategies in consultation with CD and People and Culture where necessary.

Requirements
* A minimum of three years' experience in injury management and workers compensation management.
* Current Return to Work Coordinator (RTWC) certification.
* Tertiary qualifications in Injury Management or Health and Safety are desirable.
