The Opportunity
Our client is seeking Surveyors and Senior Surveyors to join a major FIFO project located on an island west of Karratha. This long-term opportunity offers access to the latest survey and spatial technology, strong mentoring, and a clear pathway for career progression.
With 12+ roles secured and multiple start dates available, this is a rare opportunity to join a stable, well-resourced FIFO project with strong earning potential.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely survey outcomes on a major island-based infrastructure project. Working within a high-performing site team, you will play a key role in construction set-out, as-built verification, and survey control management.
Key Responsibilities
* Construction set-out and alignment verification
* Establishment and maintenance of survey control networks
* As-built surveys and QA reporting
* Machine guidance and GPS setup where required
* Data processing and drafting using 12d
* Liaising with engineers, supervisors, and site teams
* Ensuring survey accuracy and compliance with project specifications
The Benefits
* Surveyor/Technician: $80,000–$100,000 + bonus of up to $60,000
* Senior Surveyor: $100,000–$120,000 + bonus of up to $90,000
* Roster: 3/1 (21/7) or 2/1 (14/7) – confirmed per applicant

About You
* A qualification in surveying or a related discipline (e.g. geospatial, GIS, spatial services)
* White Card / Construction Card
* Australian or New Zealand residency with full work rights
* Australian surveying experience
* Leica survey equipment (desirable not essential)
* 12d software (desirable not essential)
* Strong field experience in Australian conditions (desirable not essential)
* Surveyors experienced with other instruments who are quick learners are encouraged to apply – training in Leica & 12d provided
