This role is for a risk specialist or risk manager to join Finity's Management Consulting (MC) practice as a Consultant. It offers an exciting career development opportunity for a risk/compliance/legal professional with approximately 3-5 years' experience. You will be part of the team assisting clients across a range of risk and compliance consulting projects in general and private health insurance.
- The work will consist of conducting risk assessments, assisting clients with implementing regulatory reforms, analysing data, and preparing reports, frameworks and recommendations to clients.
- You will be expected to have a proficient level of risk management expertise in the insurance industry, knowledge of APRA prudential standards and other relevant legislation.**Key Responsibilities**
- Developing risk and compliance policy documentation
- Developing/reviewing governance and monitoring frameworks
- Analysing potential risks and developing risk mitigation strategies
- Preparing reports and presentations to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to clients
- Monitoring and analysing emerging risks
- Contributing to the development of new consulting services and offerings
- Liaising with clients to plan and manage projects
- Facilitating the delivery of client workshops and project meetings
**Qualifications, skills and experience**
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. risk management, finance, law, insurance or other business related discipline)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a related role (e.g. risk management, insurance, management consulting)
- thorough knowledge and understanding of risk management concepts, requirements and governance frameworks
- Demonstrated expertise in working with teams or working independently
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships and networks to enhance industry positioning and develop consulting relationships
- Strong project management skills
