About the Opportunity We are seeking a highly organised and detail‑oriented Facilities Administrator to support facilities operations across Austal Defence Australia (ADA). In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the efficient coordination of facilities activities, providing administrative support, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with contractor and maintenance coordination. You will contribute to ensuring our facilities remain safe, compliant, and operationally effective across multiple sites within the Henderson Precinct. What’s Involved Manage the end‑to‑end purchasing process from requisition to delivery Raise and process purchase orders with accuracy and efficiency Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements Engage with suppliers to confirm orders, obtain quotes, and negotiate where required Monitor delivery timelines and expedite orders to meet project deadlines Support supplier onboarding and maintain strong supplier relationships Assist with resolving invoice discrepancies and supporting AP processes Maintain accurate procurement data in ERP systems (IFS/SAP/Pronto) Ensure compliance with procurement policies and audit requirements Supports the Facilities Team in all administrative requirements Contribute to continuous improvement in procurement process You’ll Need Essential Experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain support Strong attention to detail and data accuracy Experience using ERP systems (IFS, SAP, Pronto or similar) Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment Desirable Experience within manufacturing, defence, or project-based industries Understanding of procurement and supply chain processes Exposure to supplier management and logistics coordination Why Join Us?
