Good Food Partners, part of The Arnott's Group is Australia's largest maker of branded and private label muesli and snack bars in Australia. Over the last year we have consolidated our business into one mega state-of-the-art facility located in Rowville.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you a great communicator, thorough in your work and a quick learner? At Good Food Partners we are looking for a QA Officer. This is an on site full time position. Must have a flexible approach with a commitment to start 6am or 7am or other early morning hours according to operational needs.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Regularly check that production staff are completing the in-line production records in real time and with accurate information.
* Regularly check that Quality Control (QC) staff are completing the QC records in real time and with accurate information.
* Conduct activities as outlined in the QA verification schedule including internal audits.
* Support the Quality team to maintain GMP, site hygiene and housekeeping standards, completing records and identifying improvements.
* Arrange external testing for products, NIPs, water and environmental swabbing.
* Maintain and update manufacturing specifications.
* CARs including raising, investigation, and promptly closing out of; raw material supplier, customer, consumer and internal non-conformances/CARs.
* Conduct food safety and GMP training for production staff.
ABOUT YOU
* Minimum 1-2 years' experience in quality assurance is desirable. Would suit a graduate with some experience.
* Food manufacturing knowledge / experience in cereals / muesli bars highly regarded.
* Bachelor of Applied Science in Food Science and Technology or equivalent.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders from different levels in the organisation.
* Detailed oriented, focus on accuracy and manage time effectively.
* Excellent presentation, negotiation and verbal and written communication skills.
* Knowledge of Pronto Xi or other ERP system / software is preferred.
* Competent user of Microsoft Office suite and intermediate level Excel skills.
