About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our People & Culture team in Melbourne, providing administrative support with a strong focus on a key people integration project.The primary focus of this role will be assisting with the consolidation of employee records and processes across the business. This includes supporting the migration of employment records into a centralised system, helping standardise employment documentation, and assisting with the transition of employees onto a unified payroll and HRIS system.This is a hands-on opportunity for someone looking to start a career in Human Resources and gain practical experience working with HR systems, employee records and operational processes within a professional services environment.
Key responsibilities include:Assisting with an integration project focused on centralising employment documentation, including: - Preparing, reviewing and organising employee files - Supporting the migration of employment records from existing storage locations into a centralised system - Assisting with standardising documentation formats and record structures - Supporting the transition of employees onto a unified payroll and employment frameworkMaintaining HR systems, employee files and records to ensure information is accurate, organised and compliantAssisting with onboarding administration, including preparation of documentation and tracking requirementsSupporting HR reporting, audits and compliance-related documentationProviding general administrative and project support to the People & Culture function as required
About you:To succeed in this role, you will be reliable, highly organised and eager to learn, with a genuine interest in Human Resources and people processes. We are looking for candidates with the following attributes:Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related discipline (preferred but not essential)Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with data and documentationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organisational and time management skillsA proactive approach and willingness to assist across a variety of tasksAbility to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretionExperience with Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and Word)
