The resort features all-day dining at ALUCO Restaurant & Bar, a relaxing Pool Bar, and Vie Spa with customised facial treatments and relaxing massages.
We are seeking a Commis Chef to join our team. As a Commis Chef, you will play a pivotal role in our kitchen, learning from our experienced senior chefs and showcasing your passion for food.
Responsibilities
* Ensure that food presented to guests aligns with property standards and is served within designated timeframes.
* Stay diligent in adhering to local regulations related to health, safety, and compliance.
* Ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency in preparing food items.
* Receive ongoing training and guidance from senior chefs.
* Handle a range of kitchen tasks, from dishwashing to crafting delectable dishes.
Requirements
* A recognised culinary qualification and employment experience.
* A commercial cookery certification and preferably, a safe food handling certificate or food safety supervisor qualification.
* A strong passion for food and a willingness to experiment with new ideas.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
* Flexible availability to accommodate various shifts.
