**Your role**Our Chambers Band 1 Corporate M&A and Capital Markets practice is expanding and we are recruiting a high-calibre Senior Associate to join our Brisbane team. This is a fantastic role for somebody looking to work in a collaborative and high performing environment, advising on the most complex and largest deals in the market.Our Mergers & Acquisitions / and (MAC) Team is an integral part of the Allens broader Corporate Practice Group. With an emphasis on quality, innovation and timeliness, we deliver highly successful outcomes in M&A for leading companies and financial sponsors in Australia and around the world.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced corporate lawyer looking to continue and/or deepen their practice in the energy, resources and critical minerals sectors, while maintaining a broad M&A capability. You will advise on some of the most significant and complex transactions in the market, across both domestic and cross-border mandates. We are seeking to hire to support our work in:* M&A and joint ventures in the mining and oil and gas sectors.* Critical minerals transactions, including M&A, royalties and supporting financing.* Private and public M&A across the broader resources and energy sectors.* Energy and resources project development and operations.* Advising clients on contracts and regulatory arrangements for energy and resources projects.We are consistently recognised as among the best in Australia and the Asia region. Our team operates nationally and works collaboratively and includes specialist MAC Partners and Lawyers, supported by Knowledge Management Lawyers, Business Development staff and Practice Assistants.This is a (permanent, full-time) opportunity.
