Join a leading Australian AML/CTF regulator as a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack Developer/Technical Lead) in a 12-month contract with a potential 24-month extension. You will work on critical financial intelligence systems, including Palantir platforms, to support regulatory and compliance objectives. Key responsibilities include developing high-quality pipeline and API code, coordinating technical releases, mentoring junior staff, and proactively managing system reliability.
Essential Requirements:
* Must hold NV1 security clearance
* Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
* Proven expertise in Java, Scala, APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and Agile methodologies (JIRA, Sprints, Scrums)
* Experience with secure data pipelines, compliance systems, and technologies like Spark, Postgres, HDFS, or Elastic Search
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with Palantir, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines
* Knowledge of cloud deployment or COTS environments
* Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
