Job Summary
This is a high-level management position that oversees the investment, insurance, and taxation functions of an organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities, setting crediting rates, preparing investment reviews, and acting as secretary to the investment committee.
* Investment Management: Oversee the investment of funds under management, ensure compliance with approved delegations and guidelines, and set crediting rates for common fund contributors.
* Insurance Program: Manage the insurance program for clients and the organization, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery, and protect rights and interests of clients and beneficiaries.
* Taxation Lodgment: Coordinate and supervise the client taxation lodgment program, ensuring appropriate implementation and maintenance of control systems, protection of rights and interests of clients and beneficiaries, and value for money.
* Policy Development: Develop, implement, and review policies, procedures, and guidelines within areas of responsibility, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and Treasurer's Instructions.
