Overview

Infosys is looking for an enthusiastic and seasoned individual, brimming with fresh ideas, to join the core PR & Communications team at Infosys. We are a small, critically important, and strategic team, constantly looking for newer and impactful ways of storytelling to create resonance for Infosys and our stakeholders across markets. This role reports to the Global PR & Communications Head and works closely with key stakeholders at Infosys, including unit heads, and the marketing and sales ecosystem.

Location: Sydney, NSW

Responsibilities

- Conceptualize and execute strategic PR and Communications plans that deliver on brand and business goals.
- Align with the vision and purpose of Infosys and drive narratives deep into the region.
- Manage end-to-end PR activities – strategic campaigns, press events & releases, research reports.
- Monitor brand landscape for potential issues and develop crisis communication plans, draft statements, and manage reputation in collaboration with leadership and the communications team.
- Maintain and manage effective campaign budgets and agency relationships.
- Drive evaluation processes, execution, and KPIs on key campaigns.
- Coordinate the activities of PR agencies and ensure project deliverables are met.
- Identify strategic PR opportunities by staying attuned to the media industry and landscape.
- Maintain excellent media contacts in the region and seek new opportunities to grow the network.

Position Requirements

Education

- Degree-level qualification in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, PR, or equivalent with strong content and communications skills

Mandatory Skills

- Demonstrated experience of at least 5 years in public relations, marketing, communications, or related fields.
- In-depth understanding of the IT & Services industry with experience and networks within the Media industry.
- Excellent content development and presentation skills with ability to identify news pegs and storytelling.
- Experience in using social media channels for business purposes.
- Strong analytics capabilities: use of analytics tools, creating dashboards (data mining), and proficiency in MS Excel.
- Ability to manage and execute multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a cross-cultural/global environment and willingness to travel.
- Comfort working in a hybrid team environment.

Additional Skills

- Experience working with a PR Agency or media is an added advantage.
