The Role
As the Business Development Manager, you will work closely with the MD and the Director to increase brand awareness and engagement across various sales channels. In addition, you will:
Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to expand the company's customer base
Promote the company's product range and custom solutions to new and existing customers
Lead, coach and support the sales team to achieve KPIs and revenue targets
Monitor sales activities, leads, quotes and CRM accuracy
Prepare tenders, quotes and monthly sales reports
Work closely with the workshop and operations teams to ensure customer delivery expectations and complex builds are fulfilled on time and on budget
Engage new and existing customers in the showroom and promote the company's products and services
Work with the leadership team to implement best practices across the sales and service functions
Attend industry and trade events to represent the company and brand
About You
Proven business development and sales experience in vehicle modification, transport equipment or commercial fleet sectors
5+ years' business development and sales leadership experience, with an understanding of Solution Sales techniques
Strong relationship builder with excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to connect with influencers and key decision-makers
Ability to analyse sales data, drive results and hold teams and individuals accountable
Self-motivated, proactive and commercially minded with strong attention to detail
Experience developing detailed quotes and tenders with BOMs will be highly regarded
