About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Supervisor, Drill and Blast to control blasting operations on-site and be responsible for the coordination of drilling activities.
This role will involve working closely with the D&B Superintendent to ensure safe, efficient, and effective blasting practices. You will be responsible for leading the Blast Crew, optimising costs through effective utilisation and care of plant and personnel, and maximising drilling and blasting production targets and efficiencies.
1. Leading Safe Blasting Practices: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards to maintain a safe working environment.
2. Cost Optimisation: Implement strategies to reduce waste and improve resource allocation.
3. Team Leadership: Develop and train the Blast Crew to achieve optimal performance.
4. Production Maximisation: Drive efficiency and productivity improvements across drilling and blasting operations.

* Previous Experience: Essential for similar roles, including step up experience.
* Licence: NSW Blasters Explosive Users Licence desirable.
* Coal Mining Experience: Through Seam Coal mining experience is desirable.
* Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience leading a high-performing team is necessary.
