Job Description:
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this role involves accurately processing fortnightly payroll within required timeframes. Key responsibilities include maintaining and updating employee records, completing end-of-month payroll processing, reporting, and reconciliations, responding to payroll-related enquiries, preparing correspondence in line with policies and legislation, managing payroll system data for new hires, changes, and terminations, administering the payroll kiosk system, including leave applications and related data, liaising with the salary packaging provider to support employee benefits, and processing invoices and client expenditure reimbursements in a timely manner.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
The successful applicant will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of employment legislation, high-level computer literacy, particularly in MS Word, Excel, and payroll systems, strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and accountability.
