Position: Senior Joiner On behalf of Inline Interiors, a company specialising in commercial interior fit outs and refurbishments, we are conducting a search for a skilled and experienced Senior Joiner. The role involves carrying out high quality joinery installation and finishing work on site across a range of commercial projects. The successful candidate will support the delivery of fit out projects through precise installation, attention to detail and adherence to project specifications and safety standards. Current Opening: This opportunity is a full-time position (38 hours per week). Position Responsibilities and Tasks: Interpret architectural drawings, joinery plans and project specifications to prepare for on site installation of joinery components within commercial fit out projects. Install custom joinery elements such as wall panelling, cabinetry, shelving units, counters, partitions, doors and decorative timber features according to approved plans and specifications. Measure and mark installation areas accurately to ensure joinery components align with structural elements, finishes and design layouts. Assemble and fit prefabricated joinery components on site using appropriate tools, fasteners and installation techniques. Adjust, trim and align joinery pieces during installation to achieve a precise fit and maintain the required aesthetic and functional standards. Coordinate with site supervisors, builders and other trades to ensure joinery installations integrate smoothly with other construction activities. Inspect installed joinery for alignment, stability and finish quality to ensure work meets project specifications and company standards. Carry out minor modifications or corrective work on site to address variations in site conditions or installation requirements. Follow workplace health and safety procedures while handling tools, equipment and materials during installation activities. Maintain tools, equipment and installation materials in safe working condition while keeping the work area organised and compliant with site safety requirements. Skills and Qualifications: Relevant trade qualification in joinery At least two years of relevant industry experience performing joinery installation within commercial or residential construction projects. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, joinery layouts, and construction specifications. Strong knowledge of joinery installation methods, materials, and fastening systems used in commercial fit out projects. Proficiency in measuring, marking, cutting, and fitting joinery components to achieve accurate alignment and high quality finishes. Competence in the safe use of hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment used in joinery work. Strong attention to detail to ensure installations meet design specifications and quality standards. Ability to work effectively on active construction sites while coordinating with supervisors, builders, and other trades. Good problem solving skills to adjust joinery components and address site variations during installation. Sound understanding of workplace health and safety procedures relevant to construction and installation activities. Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $110,000 - $115,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
