Overview
The Australian Bureau of Statistics is looking to fill two ICT Senior Systems Administrators (APS6) roles in the Strategic Projects Branch. You will leverage your technical and leadership skills to collaborate with technical teams and suppliers. Your contributions will support the delivery of strategic projects for ABS business areas and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Deliver ABS business outcomes by participating in multi-disciplinary agile teams
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, to resolve critical issues and inform decisions
- Apply your technical leadership experience to mentor staff, enhance organizational capabilities, and support Executive-level staff in managing the section
- Prepare and maintain thorough documentation
What we are looking for (selection criteria)
To be suitable you should have most or all of the following skills, qualities and experience:
- A methodical approach and ability to solve highly technical problems.
- Staff management and/or technical coaching and mentoring abilities.
- Proven expertise across several of the following platforms, services, and technologies:
- Citrix Virtual Applications and Desktops (CVAD)
- Nutanix Hypervisor
- Microsoft Azure
- Microsoft Configuration Manager (MCM), Microsoft Intune
- Group Policy, Active Directory, PowerShell Scripting
- Application Packaging with AdminStudio, PSADT
- Patch My PC Enterprise
- Microsoft Application Virtualization (App-V, MSIX)
