We are seeking an individual to fill the role of Yard Maintenance Specialist, with a focus on sandblasting, painting, and manual handling.
Key Responsibilities
* Sandblast steel surfaces using industrial equipment.
* Apply primer coats and topcoats to metal components in accordance with industry standards.
* Manage and organize stock within the yard area to ensure efficient workflows.
* Operate company vehicles for loading and unloading cargo safely.
* Pack and prepare parts for shipping to meet customer requirements.
Requirements
* Reliable attendance and punctuality in meeting deadlines.
* Able to follow instructions and take initiative in completing tasks.
* Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
* Literacy and numeracy skills to effectively communicate and understand instructions.
* Able to work independently or as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
* Current driver's license (MR license advantageous but not essential) to operate company vehicles.
* Physically fit for manual labor and able to lift heavy objects when necessary.
* Proficient in operating power tools and equipment safely.
