About the role - Fixed Term up to May 2026
As the first point of contact, this position will assist in the processing of permits and applications, respond to general enquiries, manage fire safety databases and Job Tracking systems and maintain up to date records and files. Participation in meetings as a minute taker is also a key function of the role.
Functional Accountabilities include:
* Provide high level administrative and project management support to the Fire Safety and Built Environment Departments
* Review and interpret applications and permits
* Provide responsive and helpful customer advisory services to internal and external FRV stakeholders including operational personnel, Fire Safety Officers and other department staff
* Organise and coordinate agendas, catering and minutes for meetings and participate in relevant meetings as the departmental delegate
* Lead, coordinate and contribute to Fire Safety projects and process improvement activities.
What you will need to Succeed
You will have:
* Diploma in a business management or relevant discipline
* Experience in an administrative role
* Demonstrated experience to manage multiple priorities
* High proficiency in Microsoft Suite of packages
