Our client runs a small team of Maintenance specialists supporting a niche corner of the Power Generation, Industrial and Manufacturing markets. Based 20 minutes outside of Newcastle, they provide services to clients throughout Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific.
Reporting to the Leadership group, you are expected to perform with versatility and integrity across several key functions within the business. As the Administration Officer, you will provide clerical support to the Operations, Sales and Safety teams. You will oversee the document management, data entry and employee training matrices to ensure compliance for all upcoming projects.
This will initially be a Temp position, leading to permanency.
- 2+ years' experience in an administrative role, preferably within Power Generation or Heavy Industry
- Experience using Competency management systems desirable
- Excellent communication & organisational skills
- Proficient with the use of Microsoft suite
- Ability to work autonomously
- High regard for safety and commitment to 'Teaming up for Zero'.
**The role**:
- $30-$35p/hr - Experience dependant
- Assisting with coordination of new employees
- Manage day to day project compliance and data entry
- Prepare administrative and operational documents for new jobs
- Support Accounts team
- Timesheet management of onsite workers
- General Administrative duties.
