Our role is also supporting people to self-manage long-term health conditions, such as diabetes and mental health challenges, with multidisciplinary teams delivering community-based programs in a comfortable setting. We also support people, including older people and people with disability, to stay living at home longer and to live well in their community.

Our broad range of primary health services, care management and in home and community support services can be tailored to an individual's needs and with major hubs in Box Hill and Eltham, these services can be delivered locally, in the Eastern and North Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

Description


The opportunity:

We are looking for a Senior Quality and Risk Manager to join our leadership team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Govern, lead, and continuously strengthen the organisation's Care Governance Framework, ensuring it supports effective, consistent, safe, and person-centred care.
2. Lead and govern the organisation's Quality Improvement and Clinical Governance Plans, ensuring measurable improvement in safety, experience, and outcomes.
3. Govern the Risk Register, ensuring effective identification, mitigation, and escalation of clinical and organisational risks.
4. Lead and govern organisational preparation and performance for accreditation and compliance audits across Aged Care, NDIS, and Community Health standards.
5. Govern the organisation's incident and feedback reporting system (VHIMS) and associated analytics.


Skills And Experiences


Our ideal candidate:

6. Will possess the following qualifications and experience.
7. Relevant tertiary qualification (Nursing or Allied health).
8. Minimum of five years' experience working in a quality and clinical governance management role.
9. Minimum 7 years' experience working in incident and complaints management.
10. Minimum 7 years' experience in developing and overseeing organisational risk and clinical governance frameworks and management.
11. Minimum 7 years' experience in leading and overseeing successful accreditation.
