Launched in 2012, Life-Space is passionate about unlocking the possibilities of the microbiome and empowering people of all ages to sustain and achieve long-term health.We are looking for an experienced and passionate Commercial Manager who will play an integral leadership role ensuring the timely and accurate reporting and analysis together with providing commercial insights for ANZ Domestic Market and Export Channel.Reporting to the Finance Director, we are looking for someone who will conduct activity within the Commercial Finance function to drive critical decision making for the business and achieve a strong competitive position.
This role oversees cost accounting/analysis and treasury function for entire group.Key components of the role include, but are not limited to:Provide strategic financial management, including cost and revenue optimisation, and management of financial and capital expenditure investments.Oversee the day-to-day accounting process including month end closing, reporting, post month end BS reconciliation and other KPI reports for Domestic and Export channels to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial information.Oversee the budget and forecast process forDomestic and Export channel.Oversee the cost accounting, treasury function and analysis function for the whole group with professional knowledge of standard costing method for manufacturing.Preparation and review of financial reports, with a detailed analysis of operating results and reporting on variances to budget.Positive understanding of Internal Control to support the internal control team to build up processes for various operating cycles.Liaise with external auditors for annual audit and preparation of annual financial statements.Team leadership - Inspire, lead and develop team members.Oversee the development of finance process creation and improvement, to ensure solid finance control in place, and to continuously improve the output quality and process efficiency.As the successful candidate, you will require:Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting or related field is essentialDemonstrated practical experience (5+ years) within a similar role.CA/CPA Qualified is preferrable.Advanced financial modelling skills in Excel and proficient in PowerPointExperience with international markets highly regardedStrong leadership skills and ability to work cross-functionallyStrong interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain positive relationshipsProcess and deadline driven with a keen eye for detail.In return, you will receive:The opportunity of working for a well-established, energized, and rapidly growing organisation.Range of competitive employee benefits including a paid parental leave program.Access to flu vaccines, skin checks & healthy heart checks yearly.Options to purchase additional leave.Salary packaging & novated lease options.Family and Friends quarterly product allowance across the Life-Space product range- $1000 of free products each year.The benefits and eligibility listed may vary depending on your position and location and may be subject to change.Unlock job insightsSalary match Number of applicants Skills matchYour application will include the following questions:How many years' experience do you have as a commercial manager?
