We are seeking a motivated and organised Apprentice Coordinator to join our team. This role plays a key part in supporting apprentices throughout their journey, ensuring they receive the guidance, training, and administrative support needed to succeed.
Key responsibilities of this role:
* Coordination of the Epiroc Apprentice Program for all Apprentices, Dual Trade and Trade Upgrade Apprentices
* Onboarding of apprentices including apprenticeship induction and orientation, training plan orientation, tooling training and awareness, safety awareness, take 5 and risk assessment processes etc.
* Provision of guidance to managers and supervisors with respect to their responsibilities in managing apprentices as well as the applicable formal training plans
* Identify any gaps in the training plan versus the operational environment and coordinate activities to address these gaps (e.g. secondments to another Epiroc location, secondments to suppliers etc.)
* Selection of TAFE's and coordination of enrolments
* Coordination of TAFE block releases
* Facilitate annual progression of and graduation of apprentices in consultation with the Human Resources team
* Administration of federal funding and incentives
* Liaise with Apprentice Support Networks and government departments
* Liaise with Apprentices through structured meetings, to ensure the identification and management of any issues or concerns
* Liaise with supervisors and managers to ensure the identification and management of any issues or concerns
* Facilitate any collaboration initiatives with clients (e.g. rotations, initial deployment with Epiroc); and
* Identify the potential for development and facilitation of fast‐track apprenticeships and other upskilling initiatives.
